My Bachelorette Weekend Recap
Jean Ahn
Hard to believe April is almost over, its been crazy busy! And the wedding is now less than 3 months away! 😱
About a month ago I celebrated with my best girl friends for my bachelorette party in Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s always been a special place because I went to college out there and frequented the Scottsdale area while attending Arizona State. Since many of my friends went to college with me we always love an excuse to visit our old stomping grounds so it was an easy choice to have the bachelorette there.
I was lucky to have a large group of girlfriends who agreed to travel to Scottsdale for the weekend and my future my sister in law found the perfect party house for the weekend! It featured a vast pool, stunning rooftop, multiple bedrooms and even 2 guesthouses. The house was the perfect size for us 13 girls! Check out the air bnb listing here.
Since I started planning this weekend 10 months prior, I was able to book the house, dinner reservations and other activities at the most desirable times. Booking early also enabled everyone to budget the trip effectively since everyone had plenty of time to book cheap flights, take time off work and pay their portion without feeling overwhelmed. Since many of the girls were traveling so far, I kept the weekend short (Friday to Sunday) and it was the perfect amount of time.
I worked with Scottsdale Bachelorette to decorate the house, to bring my pink and gold vision to life. Casey and his team were fantastic to work with and worked with me to add my own touches to their pre set decor packages. I went with the ‘Scottsdale before the veil’ theme with the backdrop from the ‘Final Flamingle’ package and chose hot pink and gold balloons. Whats so fantastic about this service is that a team comes to the air bnb to decorate and they come back the morning of check out to take down all the decor which was honestly such a stress reliever! I can’t recommend this team enough! They were so quick, efficient and super friendly!
Thank you Scottsdale Bachelorette for making my bachelorette decor dreams come true! If you or your friends are going to plan a bachelorette in Scottsdale I highly recommend booking them for all your decor needs! They also offer services such as itinerary planning, fridge stocking and luggage drop off just to name a few!
Here is the breakdown of the bach weekend itinerary:
Friday early afternoon we checked in to the house, got unpacked and settled. Prior to checking in we did a Costco run so it was super easy to have everything done and at the house already. (Myself and one of the girls were able to drive to Scottsdale which worked out so well for shopping/ packing purposes)
The decorating team Scottsdale Bachelorette was in touch throughout the day and arrived early than originally scheduled, to decorate the house which worked out perfectly since I had also won a photoshoot with Holli Horton who captured some fun before the rest of the crew arrived.
Friday evening we had dinner at Canal Club which is a Cuban-inspired American restaurant inside the Scott Resort which features a chic vintage vibe with a tranquil patio. If you have a big group be sure to book far in advance to ensure you reserve the time that you want.
After dinner we headed to El Hefe for the evening festivities, it was definitely a walk down memory lane for the girls who went to ASU, honestly it felt exactly the same as 10 years ago! 😂 We later headed home and a handful of us (somehow) stayed up late chatting and hanging out until very late.
Saturday morning we woke up and made breakfast and enjoyed mimosas by the pool then got ready for wine tasting. We went to Wine Girl Scottsdale for an afternoon of wine tasting and some light bites. The cute little spot is super Instagrammy and sell the cutest merch too! I would recommend booking a reservation early in advance as it books up super quick for large parties because the place is actually pretty small.
We came back to the house and got ready to hangout by the pool. Two of my friends booked Cabana Boys to come visit us at the house and they turned up the party! 😂 They made us delicious drinks and served them to us at the pool, took our photos and helped clean up around the house! It all ended with some champagne spraying at sunset and a catered dinner from Oregano’s which I highly recommend ordering for a big group!
For the girls’ goodie bags which were personalized and I filled them with a set of eye masks, personalized wine tumblers, hair bands, fun heart sunglasses and included everyone’s t shirts.

It truly was the best weekend with the most amazing group of girls. The entire weekend was filled with so many laughs and memories! Despite not everyone knowing each other before the weekend, everyone got along so well and can’t reunite at the wedding in 3 months!
