Our Wedding Invitations with Elmwood Paperie

Prior to planning a wedding I had no idea what really went into a paper wedding invitation. I had gotten a glimpse when creating our Save the Dates shared about the process on this post. We decided to do a small number of paper invitations and the remaining we decided to do digital wedding invitations. It was one of the best decisions we made and so glad I have a wedding keepsake! I worked closely with Elmwood Paperie to create semi custom paper invitations.

We went with a gold print on white paper with a monogram crest, flourishing calligraphy, with vellum paper jackets and gold wax seal stickers to add an extra touch.

I really believe that an invitation sets the tone for a wedding. I wanted to create a suite that portrayed the classic elegance of our wedding. Elmwood Paperie offered an array of invitation collections we could choose from as the foundation and from there we were able to customize font styles, color, paper and layout. I was even able to incorporate our monogram crest to our virtual photo booth as well which was a fun way to tie in all the details.
