Drugstore Beauty Favorites

I know times have been crazy in our world recently so I took some time to amplify voices that needed to be heard. I like to keep this space positive and light, focusing on providing my tips and tricks in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle space.
Today I wanted to break down some of my favorite drugstore beauty items. I like to mix drugstore and department store products and actually prefer some drugstore products over high end products. With the price of beauty so V high for us girls… 😂anywhere I can save a little bit I’m all about it! Here are some of my favorite drugstore beauty products:
L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara: Not so sound like a snob but I used to only use designer mascara, I tried it all from Chanel to MAC and this one is honestly the best I have used and its only $10! The brush is extra thick and makes your lashes super voluminous and does not flake or smudge! I also love the primer from this line too! It’s a rose pink color and smells really good too!
Maybelline Superstay Matte Liquid Lipstick: It’s always a challenge to find matte liquid lipsticks that don’t dry out your lips or leave them peeling and cracked. I randomly picked this one up and decided to try it out and I was impressed, the color stayed on a for a while and my lips did not peel or crack after using this. I got this one in the shade ‘lover.’
Maybelline Master Prime: I’ve never been one to use primer becuase I felt it really wasn’t needed but I was wrong, I love using this one because its $7 and provides the perfect canvas for applying makeup! It also comes in a variety of different options ( blur/pore minimizing, reducing redness, smoothing and ‘defend’ which has SPF 30)
Aveeno Sunscreen: I have been using this sunscreen for years now and I absolutely love it! It took me a while to find a sunscreen that was non greasy and didn’t cause breakouts. This one is super hydrating but also provides the necessary sun protection. I wear this over my moisturizer under my foundation or CC cream! Plus it’s only $8 and lasts a long time!
Ardell Wispies: Out of all the lashes I have tried, I always go back to these Ardell Wispies! I love how natural they look and they are the easiest to apply in my opinion. My favorite ones are #113 Wispies. They come in a pack of two for $5.99 and you can reuse them up to at least three times!
Aveeno Ultra Calming Wipes: I typically only use wipes to take off makeup when I’m traveling or feeling super lazy but out of all the wipes I have tried I love Aveeno’s Ultra Calming wipes. They are super gentle and take off all my eye and face makeup.
Maybelline Super Stay Foundation Stick: I typically mix CC cream and foundation sticks and found they work better at covering up blemishes than concealer (for me anyways) I purchased this one on impulse when I was in desperate need of some foundation all because of that sponge at one end! The foundation stays on all day and the sponge applicator makes it so easy to apply!
Eos Lip Balm: I have been using this lip balm for years and it’s soo good! The egg shape makes it easy for applying and all the balms smell delish! My favorite is the Strawberry Peach flavor!
