Pregnancy Must Haves!
Jean Ahn
Now that I am in my 3rd trimester with less than 2 months left 🤯 I have learned so much about my body and this pregnancy journey. I feel very fortunate that I didn’t have any crazy symptoms, or any strange cravings and my pregnancy has been smooth overall minus some mild gestational diabetes simply due to how my body processes sugar. Those glucose tests are not fun and were definitely the least enjoyable part of my pregnancy. 🫣 Over the course of 8 or so months I have had to make some adjustments and compiled some products that have been a tremendous help to me.
One of the biggest changes I had to make was how I slept, I am a back sleeper and side sleeping is healthiest for baby, this pregnancy pillow has helped me to adjust to side sleeping as much as possible and its super comfy to cuddle up to. Just be aware it takes up quite a bit of room but it worked fine for a king size bed.
Early on even when I hardly had a bump I started using this belly butter from Skin and Senses and then incorporated this belly oil from Hatch as well to prevent stretch marks. I love the smell of both and made without parabens, dyes and phthalates which I love.
I have mentioned this ice roller before but this Skinny Confidential ice roller came in handy in the first and second trimester, I would get headaches occasionally and this brought so much relief without having to take any pain meds!
Maternity leggings have been the ultimate comfort and life saver for me. I love this and this from Amazon, I ordered 3 pairs because they were so comfy and perfect for workouts and just for everyday. Also I am a stickler with the length and the inseam on these were perfect!
I have talked about the Barefoot Dreams blankets a handful of times on this and this post. This blanket is so cozy and soft and was the best for naps during the first and second trimesters. Michael also loves these blankets and we have several of these!
Stanley Cup is also a must, with keeping water cold and staying hydrated throughout the day. I have the 40 oz and also have the 30 oz but prefer the 40 oz just since it holds more water and I love all the colors!
Cozy slippers have also been great, I love these Ugg fluff slippers they are super comfy and cozy and great for around the house.
Hope this helps other expecting mamas! Let me know in the comments whats your must have during pregnancy.
